Audrey, a recent guest, said: "The best nights sleep I've had in years". Our guest books are testimony to lots of people spending quality time in a quality environment. See the happy faces in our Gallery. To reassure you of our quality the AA travel group have accorded us the prestigious "Recommended" status.

For the active there are plenty of attractions nearby. See the activities page for the detail.  Big 5 game viewing, horse riding, trout fishing,  mountain climbing, golf, quad bikes, canopy tour, elephant and monkey sanctuary, cheese factory, archery and many others.

We are about an hours drive from Rustenburg, Pretoria and Johannesburg.

We have 3 self catering accommodation options. All are beautifully appointed and offer unbeatable value for money.

For couples we have the West Wing chalet. It is very private with a bathroom en suite with a shower.

The next option is the 3 bedroom de la Rey Farmhouse. Normally it sleeps six. The lounge has a big wood burning fireplace.

The third option is the newly completed Clements House. It is the most luxurious option for the discerning upmarket guest. It sleeps 8.

Each unit is let on an exclusive basis -- no sharing with other groups. Please note it is not necessary to fill the houses to capacity -- smaller groups are accepted. Tell us how many in your group and we'll make a plan.

We enjoy 46 hectares of country space -- trails through bush and savannah down to the river. Complete privacy.  In comfortable luxury.

The farm is situated in the Hartebeestfontein Conservancy, winner of the Meerkat Award for Top Conservancy in 2008.

To remind us of how the Valley looked a hundred years ago we have a few wild antelope roaming around.  And some ostriches for the kids to feed. To ensure the farm feel there are cows and their calves happily munching on the grass. If you're lucky there may be a troupe of vervet monkeys passing through or you may awake to the screeching of a Swainson's francolin or a flock of guinea fowl. The birds are everywhere as we have plenty of bush and trees to keep them happy.
